From a recent new group poster: "As I read my own writing I am confused....
Sorry to be so all over the place in my postings. I am having a hard time focusing due to a major back injury that is keeping me either in pain or in a drug stupor. Also really hard to sit at desk and hate my laptop.
Let me add that no matter how much my portfolio has risen since August, back pain trumps it all. Health is so much more important than wealth."
Thought this was worth passing along. Although my health is fine, I find there are diminishing returns to increased wealth. In so many cases, what I care about, would not be affected in the least by increased wealth.
Leave me a comment about what you think of wealth's diminishing returns.

P.S., leave me a comment if you can think of anything that trumps back pain. I have some thoughts, but would like to hear yours, especially if you (unlike me) have experienced an extended period of pain.
Hi,
I can recommend "Healing Back Pain: The Mind-Body Connection" http://www.amazon.com/Healing-Back-Pain-Mind-Body-Connection/dp/0446557684/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1289715953&sr=8-1
A real life experience, recommending another book by Sarno http://aaroniba.net/articles/tmp/how-i-cured-my-rsi-pain.html
My own back pain (problems) was cured by some pills from a homeopath, with good long lasting result, 12 years and counting.
Okay, I have read three books by Sarno during the same time period, in order to maintain the good status of my back.
Cheers
Stefan

Get a book on back pain. You don't need to read it. Just do the stretches and strengthening exercises. Try them all but figure out which ones work for you. 15 minutes a day while watching tv. It will take several months before you believe me but it will fix you for life. Build up slowly. Good luck.
